The Champions League is also commonly known as CLT20. It is the tournament held annually on an International level between top teams of major Cricketing nations. This tournament was launched in the year 2008. The first tournament of this league was to be played in 2008, but due to the Mumbai attack in the same year the tournament got cancelled. After that, the tournament occurred in 2009 and was hosted by India. The latest Champions League Twenty20 tournament was played in 2014 in India. It’s a 20-20 format league. 

These tournaments are managed and organised jointly by BCCI, Cricket Australia, Cricket South Africa. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Champions League Twenty20 and Indian Premier League is Mr Sundar Raman. The tournament used to take place during September and October month which is played in a period of two to three weeks. 1. Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo is a Caribbean cricketer who plays for West Indies. He is not only a good bowler but we can say that he is an all-rounder. In the T20 format, he comes as an opener and makes full utilisation of power-play. He played a total of 18 innings and took massive 28 wickets.

His economic rate was very decent and the best on the list. Especially in the T20 overs, he gets in terrific form. He has lots of variation in his bowling, which becomes very difficult for the batsmen.

2. Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine is a Caribbean cricketer. He is a Right-arm spin bowler. His performance in the Champion League 20 has been very ultimate. During his match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, his bowling spell of 4 over resulted in just 22 runs and massive 5 wickets.

He played a total of 15 innings and took 27 wickets. He bowled with the economic rate of 5.50. He is the leading wicket-taker for his team. His bowling style is also very different and unique.

3. Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin is an Indian Cricketer. He is a right-arm off-break bowler. He has been part of Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab and currently he is part of Delhi Capital. He played a total of 19 innings and took 25 wickets. He was also very good with his economy rate of 4.50.

4. Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-arm fast bowler and has a very different and unique bowling style. He was very impressive during the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. He played a total of 12 matches and took 24 wickets.

His variations and pace have always resulted in trouble for the batsmen. Especially in the opening spell and in death over, he remains quite impressive. His pace in the bowling has really troubled lots of batsmen.

5. Ravi Rampaul

Ravi Rampaul is a West Indies player. He is a right-arm fast bowler. He generally opens the spell and remains very economical. He played a total of 18 matches and took 23 wickets. His economic rate was only 3.50, which is very good.

He troubles the batsmen with his pace and variations. Every bowler has a good motive of troubling the batsmen with his variations because, at last, the bowler needs the wicket. He plays for Trinidad and Tobago.

6. Moises Henriques

Moises Henriques is an Australian Bowler. He is a right-arm fast bowler. He plays in all the formats of cricket. He played a total of 15 matches and took 22 wickets. The match was against Titans and played at Mohali, in which he remained very economical.

He played a total of 11 innings and took 18 wickets. Most of the time he remains very expensive but when it comes to wickets, he is quite impressive. His bowling pace helps him to take wickets. He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sydney Sixers and New South Wales.
