Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has all the rights to perform the tournaments. ACC is an organisation that looks after the management and smooth conduct of tournaments under their governance. It was founded and established in 1983. It is played in both one day and T20 formats played in every alternative two years. The first edition was played in 1984 in UAE.
The latest edition was played in 2018 and the next edition will be played in 2022 and hosted by Sri Lanka. All the matches between the teams are conducted in a round-robin format. India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Afghanistan are the teams taking part under Asian Cricket Council.
The very first tournament of the Asia Cup was played in 1984 in Sharjah, UAE. The ICC also announced that the entire tournament played in Asia Cup has the official One-Day International status. Here is the list of:

1. Mahela Jayawardene
Mahela Jayawardene is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is amongst the best fielder in the Sri Lankan squad and also in the history of cricket. He has played his first Asia Cup in 2000 and latest played till 2014.

3. Aravinda De Silva
Aravinda plays for Sri Lanka. He is one of the best fielders in his team. He was a most demanding player. He has good fielding capability, in terms of his catches and quick movements. He played his first Asia Cup tournament in the year 1984 and played till 2000.
He is one of the oldest players but still holds the record in front of the youngsters. He played a total of 24 matches and 24 innings and took 12 matches. His best individual figure is 2 catches in a match.
4. Muttiah Muralitharan
Muttiah Muralitharan plays for Sri Lanka. He is known for his best bowling performance. He has made lots of records with his bowling performance and, on the other hand, he has been a good fielder too. He first played his Asia Cup tournament in 1995 and played till 2010.
Being the oldest player still holds the records is one of the great achievements. He played a total of 24 matches and 24 innings and took 10 wonderful catches. His best individual figure is of 2 catches in a match.
5. Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina is an Indian cricketer and also amongst the best fielder. Suresh Raina, mostly fields in the slips and inside the 30-yard circle. He started playing his first Asia Cup tournament in 2008 and played till 2012. He played a total of 14 matches and took 8 catches. He is one of the best fielders in the history of cricket.
His dives, saving runs and quick run-outs are his key skills. Whether the player doesn’t perform with his batting or bowling, but needs more attention towards fielding. In the slip area, his fielding capability is quite awesome. The fielding skill shows the fitness of the players.
6. Roshan Mahanama
