1.  Sri Lanka Vs India, 1997

The match was played between Sri Lanka and India. It was played at Colombo in 1997. India won the toss and elected to bat first, and the opener, Navjot Singh Sidhu, played a wonderful knock of 111 runs.

Captain Sachin Tendulkar scored 143 runs and Md Azharuddin scored 126 runs and took the team to 537 runs in the first innings.

Sri Lanka came out to chase and the opener Sanath Jayasuriya played a beautiful knock of 340 runs and Roshan Mahanama scored 225 runs. Aravinda de Silva scored 126 and took the team to a total of 952/6d and finally, the match was drawn.

2. England vs Australia, 1938

Australia was on a tour of England. Matches were played in The Oval in 1938. England opener Leonard Hutton scored 364 runs, Maurice Leyland scored 187 and Joe Hardstaff scored 169 and the team reached 903/7d.

Australia came out to chase and Bill Brown scored 69 runs and Lindsay scored 42 runs and somehow reached 201 runs.

Australia again played in the 2nd innings and again England bowlers were heavily charged upon Australian batsmen and they somehow reached 123 runs and finally, England won it by 579 runs and by an innings.

3. England Vs West Indies, 1930

In the England tour of West Indies, which was played at Kingston in 1930. England came out to bat first and the opener, Andy Sandham, played a beautiful knock of 325 runs. Les Ames scored 149 runs and reached a total of 849 runs in the first innings, which was a huge target.

West Indies came out to chase and the opener skipper Karl Nunes scored 66 runs and some other small partnerships were built, but it couldn’t help the team and somehow reach 286 runs.

England in their 2nd innings was at a slow pace and built a total of 272 runs and the target was very huge for the West Indies team and finally, the match got drawn.

4. West Indies Vs Pakistan, 1958

The match was played between West Indies and Pakistan and was played in Kingston in 1958. Pakistan came out to bat first and the opener, Imtiaz Ahmed, was in good form and scored 122 runs. Wallis Mathias scored 77 runs and the team reached 328 runs.

West Indies came out to chase and the opener Conrad Hunte smashed 260 runs and Garry Sobers scored 365 runs and took a huge lead and built a huge score of 790.

Pakistan in their second innings, Wazir Mohammad scored 106 and some small partnership help Pakistan to reach 288 but at last West Indies won by an innings and by 174 runs.

5. Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka

The match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was played in 2009 in Karachi. Sri Lanka came out to bat first and the skipper Mahela Jayawardene scored 240 and Kumar Sangakkara scored 70 runs and Thilan Samaraweera scored 231 runs and the team reached 644 runs.

Pakistan came out to chase and the skipper Younis Khan scored 313 runs, Kamran Malik scored 158 and almost all the batsmen contributed well and Pakistan took a lead and scored 765 runs. Sri Lanka in their 2nd innings scored just 144 runs, and the match got drawn.

6. Sri Lanka Vs India, 2009

The match was played between Sri Lanka and India in 2009 in Ahmedabad. India came out to bat first, and the openers didn’t do something special, but Rahul Dravid was in good form and scored 177 runs and skipper MS Dhoni scored 110 and the total reached 426 runs.

On the other side, Sri Lanka came out to bat and opener Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 112 and Mahela Jayawardene scored 275 and reached 760 runs.

India again came out to chase and opener Gautam Gambhir scored 114 runs and Sachin Tendulkar scored 100 and remained not out and the score reached 412 runs and the match got drawn.

7. India Vs England, 2016

The match was played between India and England in 2016 in Chennai. England came out to bat first and Joe Root scored 88 and Moeen Ali smashed 146, which helped England to build a decent score of 477 runs.

India came out in their 1st innings and KL Rahul scored 199 runs and Karun Nair scored 303 runs and the first innings score reached 759 runs.

England in their second innings stood a little slower and could only make 207 runs and finally, India won by an innings and 75 runs.

8. Australia Vs West Indies, 1955

The match between Australia and West Indies was played in 1955 at Kingston. Where West Indies came out to bat and Clyde Walcott scored 155 runs, Frank scored 61 and Everton scored 56 and the total reached 357 runs.

Australia came out to bat and seems in a very drastic form and the opener Colin McDonald scored 127, Neil Harvey scored 204, Keith Miller scored 109 and Ron Archer scored 128 and a team build a huge total of 758 runs.

In the 2nd innings, West Indies came out to bat and Clyde Walcott scored 110 runs and other batsmen also scored at a small pace and the score reached 319 but finally, Australia won it by an innings and 82 runs.

9. Sri Lanka Vs South Africa, 2006

The match between Sri Lanka and South Africa was played in 2006 in Colombo. Where South Africa came out to bat and the team was not looking at good form and somehow managed to score a total of 169 runs.

Sri Lanka came out to chase and was in terrific form and smashed 756 runs. South Africa came out for their 2nd innings and with having a huge target in front of them, but the South African batsmen were on a good side and they played well and scored 434 runs this time and finally Sri Lanka won it by an innings and 153 runs.

10. West Indies Vs England, 2004

The match was played between West Indies and England in 2004. West Indies came out to bat first and the whole team was looking in great form and the opener Chris Gayle scored 69.

The skipper Brian Lara scored 400, that too not out and Ridley Jacobs scored 107 runs and remained not out and the total reached to 751 runs.

Which was looking very difficult for England. England scored 285 in the 1st innings and 422 in the 2nd innings and finally, the match was drawn.
