The Cricket World Cup, the name itself says how much trill and excitement these matches amongst the Various Countries will give. It is played in One Day International (ODI) format. International Cricket Council (ICC) has all the rights to perform the tournaments.

He bowed total seven overs and seven wickets with 15 runs. One of the best wicket keeper ‘Adam Gilchrist’ took four catches behind the wicket in McGrath over. It is one of the best bowling figure in his career.

2. Muttiah Muralitharan, Sri Lanka

Muttiah Muralitharan is a Sri Lankan bowler. He played between the span of 1996- 2011, total 40 matches and 39 innings. He totals bowled 343 overs with 15 maidens and made 1335 runs and took 68 wickets and stands second in the list.

Chaminda Vaas is a Sri Lankan and a left arm fast bowler. He took 49 wickets in the ICC world cup history. He did not rely upon his pace, but more on his swing ability. The match was against Bangladesh in 2003. He took 4 wickets in just 5 balls, in his very first over.

He also made a record of taking hat trick in first three balls in the international cricket. Chaminda bowled a wonderful spell and Bangladesh were out at 124. Chaminda took 6 wickets in 9.1 over.

7. Zaheer Khan, India

Javagal Srinath is a one of the finest Indian fast bowlers. Currently he is an ICC match referee. He was the part of a world cup from 1992 to 2003. Javagal played total 34 matches and 33 innings. Total 283 overs bowled by him and with 21 maidens and made a record by taking 44 wickets.

He also made a wonderful record by taking the first 300 wickets in One-Day International. Srinath retired after the 2003 world cup played in South Africa.

9. Imran Tahir, South Africa

Imran Tahir is a spin bowler from South Africa. He started his world cup 2011 and last played till 2019. Till now he played total 22 matches and 21 innings. He bowled 191 overs and which includes 7 maidens.

Also, being good with his bat and scored 847 runs and took 40 wickets. He is a specialist in googly bowling. He played in all the three formats and most preferred is playing with a white ball.
