Indian premier league (IPL) is the most popular T20 league, especially in India. The first edition was played in 2008. These tournaments are managed and organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It is an organisation that has the rights to govern Cricket in India, under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. BCCI’s headquarter is situated at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. 

The IPL is played in T20 format. IPL attracts a large amount of audience and in 2014 IPL ranked sixth by average attendance as compared to all the other sports leagues in the world. IPL was live telecasted on YouTube in the 2010 edition. In 2019, it gained the brand value of Rs. 475 Billion. BCCI confirmed that 2015 IPL season contributed Rs. 11.5 Billion to the GDP of Indian Economy. Here is complete list of:

1. Rajasthan Royal Vs Punjab Kings (Earlier Kings Xi Punjab)

In the 2020 IPL edition, Kings Punjab scored 223 runs with the fall of just 2 wickets. In which K. L. Rahul scored 69 runs in 54 balls and Mayank Agarwal scored a wonderful century of 106 runs in just 50 balls and built a partnership of 175 runs.

A massive target was set up for Rajasthan Royals and then the Rajasthan team came out to bat and the small partnership between Sanju Samson, Steven Smith and Rahul Tewatia contributed 188 runs and after the fall of their wicket the match was looking one-sided but even the last order batsmen gave the good result and Rajasthan Successfully chased the massive target and won by 4 wickets.

2. Mumbai Indian Vs Chennai Super Kings

In the latest IPL edition in 2021, Chennai Super Kings gave a huge target of 219 runs at Delhi. Openings batsmen Faf du Plessis along with Moeen Ali played a wonderful inning and at last Ambati Rayudu scored massive 72 runs in just 27 deliveries.

The target was huge, but the all-time defending champions didn’t think about it and when they came to bat. The opening partnership was fine but not that too good, but after that once Pollard arrived and smash all the bowlers one by one.

He played a beautiful knock of 87 runs in just 34 balls which included 6 fours and 8 sixes, with the strike rate of 255 and remained not out and finally Mumbai Indians win by 4 wickets.

3. Rajasthan Royals’ Vs Deccan Chargers

The match between Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers was played in Hyderabad in 2008. Deccan Chargers opted to bat first and came out bat. The opening batsmen couldn’t score well and went contributing very fewer runs. Then Andrew Symonds came to bat and played a thrilling innings of 117 runs in just 53 balls, which consist of 11 fours and 7 sixes and a strike rate of 220.

The total went to 214 runs. Rajasthan Royals wasn’t afraid of the huge target and came out to bat in the second innings. The partnership between Graeme Smith and Yusuf Pathan of 132 runs and Mohammad Kaif also contributed well and made Rajasthan Royals won by 3 wickets and with one ball remaining.

4. Delhi Capitals Vs Gujarat Lions

The match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Lions was played in Delhi in 2017. Gujarat Lions opted to bat first and the contribution from Suresh Raina and Dinesh Karthik of 142 runs stood wonderful and gave the target of a total of 209 runs. The target was huge, but the Delhi team didn’t back off, and the team was ready for the chase.

The partnership between Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant of 158 runs made Delhi reach very near to the win, and they both lost the wicket before the win and at last Shreyas Iyer and Corey Anderson finishes off the innings in a style by hitting a huge six and Delhi Capitals won by 7 wickets and with 15 balls remaining.

5. Punjab Kings Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

The match between Punjab and Hyderabad was played in Hyderabad in 2014. Hyderabad came to bat first and Naman Ojha played a wonderful inning and scored 79 runs and others remained not out and other middle-order batsmen played well and helped the team to reach the total of 205 runs.

Then in the second innings, Punjab came to bat and smashed like anything top and middle order contributed well and made team win by 6 wickets.

6. Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

The match between Chennai and Bangalore was played in Chennai in 2012. Bangalore opted to bat first and came out to bat, with the marvellous opening partnership between Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli. They contributed 170 runs and helped the team to reach a total of 205 runs.

Chennai team came to bat in the second innings, Faf Duplessis played a wonderful knock of 71 runs and rest all other top and middle-order batsmen contributed well and finally, Chennai won the match by 5 wickets.

7. Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

The match between Chennai and Bangalore was played in Bangalore in 2018. Bangalore team opted to bat first, Quinton De Kock and AB De Villiers played a beautiful knock and help the team to reach 205 runs. Whereas, Chennai team came out to bat in the second innings.

Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni played the good knock and made Chennai win by 5 wickets.

The match between Punjab and Chennai was played in Abu Dhabi in 2014. Chennai batsmen played really well and all the top order batsmen contributed well and made team reach 205 runs. Punjab came out to bat and the beautiful innings of 95 run runs lead Punjab to win by 6 wickets.
